Training through Video-Conferencing
Availability of highly effective modern technologies for the is planning of communication has opened innumerable opportunities before a training institute such as DPPI, DAVCMC which can employ these effectively to make the system of in-house training more efficient in terms of quality of transaction and expenditure involved on time, money and human resources.
The high-end ICT solutions have made it possible for us to create a cyber network between DPPI and the DAV Schools. The cyber network facilitates training and orientation of the teachers through Video- Conferencing mode wherein persons on the network are visible and audible to each other. The interaction between Trainer and Trainees is the crux of a training programme and the facility of interaction through the Video-conferencing makes this mode ideal for orientation of teachers.
DPPI, DAVCMC has entered into collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to reach in-service training to DAV Schools through the highly sophisticated satellite network of EDUSAT, DTH and C Band. There are many plans on the anvil in 2008 to organize virtual conference and symposiums for the Heads of DAV Schools and the DAV teachers.
