Looking Ahead
In DPPI’s first phase – five years since its inception i.e. from March 1999 up to March 2004, in focused its efforts on devising a functional structure of decentralized in-service training that formed clusters of local schools to jointly address their training needs so that it became need-based and economical.
In the second phase April 2004 to March 2008, DPPI used its decentralized structure of CRCs to create awareness for the need to meet the challenge of change. Most of the CRCs became activated and energized and began to collaboratively organize in-service training of their teaching staff.
In the third phase DPPI plans to address the Challenge of Quality before the DAV Schools in the changed highly competitive scenario.
